Owned by a wonderful couple, the food here was amazing! We arrived in the late afternoon when almost everything was closed and, for our surprise, this restaurant was open. The owner received us so warmly, and the place inside is a charm! Recommend it for sure

A group of three of us attended this restaurant for dinner. We ordered the mussels starter, which were cooked in a delicate broth – fresh and delicious. For main courses we ordered sirloin steak and kingklip. Both meals were cooked to perfection. The vegetables on the side were so deliciously al dente, I could’ve eaten them on their own! The crêpes for dessert were rather a small portion, but yummy anyway. Definitely worth a visit.

We came across the restaurant by chance. We were traveling with a baby, but that didn't bother anyone. On the contrary, it made us laugh a little. The food itself was exceptionally good (paella). It was the same with the service. Everyone was very nice and you could have a good conversation. It was also great that the chef came by and asked how you were. Price-performance ratio is definitely top here! The restaurant itself has a very homely feel-good atmosphere (about 6 tables). The ambience is very pleasant and would also benefit from a few plants or fairy lights on the high ceilings. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant.

Some organization that looks after human rights should propose a recommendation so that every person on the planet could, at least once in their life, have the opportunity to eat at this restaurant, as a basic, unquestionable, and irrevocable right. The food is amazing; I think everyone should have the privilege of eating there at least once in their life, for the sake of life, world peace, and the prosperity of humankind.

Ma Cuisine was such a lovely surprise! We stumbled upon it by chance, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the outside, it looks just like a cozy home—and once you're inside, that same warm, homey feeling welcomes you in. You truly feel like you're at home. The owner is incredibly friendly and made us feel right at ease. Everything was spotless and neatly arranged, and if I had to sum this place up in a few words, I’d say: quality over quantity. The menu isn’t huge, but it has something for everyone. We had the tartare—absolutely delicious!—and the kingklip fillet, which was just as amazing. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. What really stood out was the warmth and hospitality—we felt like we were dining at a close friend’s house. Oh...wait...The dessert… wow! The crêpes with ice cream and Amarula were out of this world! Definitely a must-try. I wholeheartedly recommend Ma Cuisine. Can’t wait to come back soon! —Mario

An excellent place to enjoy a cosy dinner. Great paella and steaks. A thoughtful limited menu that reflects options for all and allows them to focus well. Good value for money. Look forward to going back to the fire in winter. The hosts provide both chef and service to make it a more homely, intimate experience

This was a friendly, beautiful experience. The chef and owner Maurice was very friendly, and his food was very tasteful! The waiter were helpful. This is the hidden gem of Pringle Bay . We will definitely visit this place again!!!
